Put an End to Mealtime Meltdowns by Changing the WAY You Feed

Start here
Feed Your Family Without Battles or Bribery
Meals without whining.
Without short-order cooking.
Without frustration and anxiety over what's left uneaten on the plate.
Meals where you talk and laugh and enjoy each other's company.
I can help get you there.
I Believe...
Feeding and eating are a complex dance and it's normal to struggle with the choreography
Enjoyment of food and joy in eating should be prioritized
You can relax about the vegetables
A hyper-focus on nutrition standards and food quality can be counter-productive
Meals should be nutritionally sound (most of the time) and emotionally gratifying
Habitual family meals benefit kids emotionally, socially, and nutritionally
It's good to be flexible
Schedules and routines make everything better
You are doing your best
A Different Approach to
Successful Family Meals
More of this...
...Less of that
Understanding and acknowledgement that this whole feeding-your-kid-routine is hard!
Hoops and hurdles to jump over and through to make food ‘FUN!' for your kiddo (you can make eating enjoyable will minimal effort – I promise!)
Simple, actionable advice to start improving your family meals TONIGHT.
Tips to ‘healthify' your favorite cookie, cake, or brownie recipe (because some better-for-you makeovers just make my heart hurt).
Increased emphasis on HOW you feed, not just WHAT you feed.
A micro-focus on nutrition and food selection.
Science, science, science. Peer reviewed studies, evidenced based recommendations, validated theoretical models... I'm here for it ALL.
Pressure tactics. Even ‘positive pressure' (i.e., praise) can have unintended consequences.
Tools to help you evaluate your own language and behaviors at mealtimes. Because learning to let go of control and TRUST kids is difficult, but necessary.
Judgement. No matter where you are on your feeding journey, I got you. It's never too late to right the ship.
Hi, I'm Sarah
I'm a mom of three, a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), and a family feeding expert who gives advice for the real world. Chances are you're short on both time and patience, because… kids. If you're in the trenches like me, you know all-too-well that parenting is a verb. And so is feeding. And it can all feel so very isolating. I'd like to change that.
