Work with me
"Better Family Meals was born out of my frustration with impractical advice on childhood feeding… advice that often focuses on nutrition alone. My goal is to emphasize the importance of HOW and not just WHAT we feed our families."

- Sarah Ladden, MS, RD, Founder of Better Family Meals
As a mom of three, I know how confusing and frustrating and overwhelming it can feel when your dinner table transforms into a battle zone.

But as a dietitian, I know there's a better way to feed. Without stress and meltdowns and battles.

A way to feed that shuns trickery and pressure tactics and promotes trust and independence.

And I would love to show you how.

Check out my 1:1 family nutrition sessions below, offered in-person and virtually.

STEP
1
Find the level of support
that works best for you

Many feeding struggles don't go away on their own and can worsen if not addressed.

So, if you need to hit pause, to hit reset, or if you simply want to start your family feeding journey on the best footing possible, I'm here to help!

STEP
2
Book an initial FREE call with Sarah to discuss your feeding concerns and goals

This brief (15-min) chat will help ME better understand your unique family situation and allow YOU to ask questions about my approach and philosophy.

If we're a good fit for each other, I'll schedule your initial feeding assessment for a later date. Virtual and in-person options available.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • No judgement. Parenting is hard. Impossibly hard. I know that everything you do (and have done) for your kiddo is done with love – even the missteps.
  • Our work together will focus first on eliminating interference and building TRUST in your child’s ability to know how much he needs to eat.
  • Goals will be geared toward improving your feeding relationship. When our work is done, you should FEEL GOOD ABOUT FEEDING and your child should FEEL GOOD ABOUT EATING.
  • By nurturing a positive eating environment, change happens. It will not happen overnight, but it will happen. Do things sometimes get worse for a bit before they get better? Yep. But I will prepare you for that and support you through that transition.
  • In learning how to feed better, you will lay the foundation for a healthy relationship with food – easy and joyful – for every member of the family.
